Bournemouth's Mayor, Councillor Rod Cooper did the ribbon cutting honours and there was a carol service, raffle, mulled wine and mince pies. The event also saw the opening of Santa's Post Box.

Make sure the Southbourne high street is on your list for Christmas shopping this year. With a huge range of independent and unique shops Southbourne is ideal for gift shopping. To make it even easier there is FREE PARKING at the Woodside Car Park every Sunday in December.
On Street Parking
Southbourne is one of the few areas that has free on street parking on the high street throughout the year and finding a space is possible most of the time - if not there are plenty of side streets with free spaces.
