Southbourne Library Celebrates 85 Years

The Southbourne Library is celebrating its 85th Anniversary with a range of events for all the family and want to invite you to the party!

When? Saturday 25th June 2011 between 9.30am - 1.00pm

What's happening during the day?

There will be local authors available to meet and chat and sign their books, including:

Beverley Naidoo, author of Journey to Jo’burg, Burn My Heart, No Turning Back, Carnegie Medal winning, The Other Side of Truth and many more.
Carol Rivers, author of East End Angel, Bella of Bow Street, Eve of the Isle.
Martin Stratford, local author whose first crime novel, Double Jeopardy, was published in 2010
David Hilliam, author of The Little Book of Dorset

Big Little's Summer Show

If you’re in need of a lively, fun-filled and dynamic night out, then Bournemouth’s Pavilion Theatre is the place to be on Thursday to Saturday night 14th to 16th July 2011 to see the talented and artistic young performers of Big Little Theatre School in ‘Now That’s What I Call Showtunes 3’.

The show features vibrant and highly talented professionally trained musical theatre students presenting songs from some of the most famous and dramatic shows of all time including hits from Beauty & The Beast, Footloose, Ragtime, Kiss Me Kate, Rent and many more.
