As the weather takes a turn for the colder and the shopping days until Christmas count down, I am delighted to welcome you to the Christmas edition of the Southbourne Magazine.

Appeal after attempted robbery
Detectives in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after an attempted robbery in Southbourne.
Dorset Police received a report of an attempted robbery at the NatWest bank on Southbourne Grove at 12.05pm on Wednesday 24 October 2012.
Detective Inspector Becky Riggs, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information about this incident to contact Dorset Police urgently.
Nobody was injured and no money was stolen during this attempted robbery.
