Easter Monday at Fishermans Walk

The Friends of Fishermans Walk events seasons kicks off at 1pm on Easter Monday with their annual Easter Fun day.

With entertainment from the Southbourne Ukulele band and the James Rawlinson Saxophone Quartet the season will certainly start with a swing.

Chris Anderton, Chairman of the Friends of Fisherman’s Walk who are organising the free event says, “This is always a great event to mark the start of our events calendar as it s a real family event. It is also god to see people in Fishermans Walk enjoying this great space that we have in the heart of Southbourne. Making sure we have music at our events keeps the bandstand in use and makes it a real focal point in Fishermans Walk”.

Children will also be entertained with a nature trail around the walk with Easter eggs as prizes. The event finale will be the Easter bonnet parade for both adults and children, with prizes for the most creative.

Local traders and other family entertainment will also add to the fun aspect of the day.
