Bournemouth Natural Science Society is a local charity which providess a wide range of lectures about many subjects in the Museum building.

The museum is open to the public on the 2nd Saturday of the month from April to August although members can visit the museum on Tuesday mornings too.

With up to 3 lectures a week that last 60 to 75 minutes, regular field trips and social events this is a society open to anyone interested in many subjects. Members include people who are so expert that they have produced a book about the Natural History of Bournemouth. Novices can come to learn at the lectures and open days.

Subjects include: Archeology, Astronomy, Botany, Egyptology, Entomology, General Interest, Geology, History, Ornothology, Science and Zoology.
